Ecchinswell Village Hall Jumble Unites the Parish once Again
Saturday 28th February saw the Village Hall buzzing with activity as we hosted our second jumble sale of the decade. From the moment the doors opened, bargain hunters from across the parish streamed in, eager to browse the tables piled high with books, bric‑a‑brac, toys, clothes, and all sorts of unexpected treasures.
A Lively Morning of Community Spirit
The hall quickly filled with chatter as neighbours caught up over the rails and rummaged through boxes in search of hidden gems. Volunteers kept refreshments flowing throughout the event and served cakes donated by the community.
Fantastic Support and Generous Donations
A big thank you to the generosity of everyone who donated items. Once again, we had an impressive variety on offer. From vintage ornaments to nearly‑new children’s clothes, there was something for every taste and every budget. Several items sparked friendly competition, and more than a few shoppers left with far more than they planned to buy.
Funds Raised for the Village Hall
We’re delighted to share that the event raised valuable funds to support the upkeep and running of the Village Hall. Every purchase, cup of tea, and slice of cake helped contribute towards the total, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support.
A Big Thank You
A heartfelt thank you goes to all the volunteers who sorted donations, set up tables, served refreshments, and helped tidy up afterwards. Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without their time and enthusiasm.
We’re already looking forward our next sale in 2027. If Saturday was anything to go by, it’s set to be another brilliant community day.

Tickets are now on sale for our next big Village Hall event, a lively musical extravaganza taking place on Saturday 21st March. This special evening promises a wonderful mix of performances, surprises, and toe‑tapping entertainment for all ages.
